Description
The Dutro Shovel Nose hand trucks 828S is part of a series of hand trucks made for really weighty item hauling. The deep “shovel nose” toe plate is designed to reach in a little further to hold deep cartons. There is a center back brace to strengthen the frame and high, wide handles to redistribute weight.
The key difference between the 828B and this 828S model is in the solid wheel, shown here:
This heavier wheel is designed to help the hand truck handle better in more diverse surfaces areas, even dirt, ice and snow. It does not change the weight rating of the hand truck but it does make it easier to use on slick surfaces, uneven floors and going over curbs or steps.
